Terms of Use
Article 1 - Purpose
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of: the Rovelia.io website (the “Site”), the Rovelia mobile application (the “App”), the private community hosted on Discord (the “Community”).
By accessing or using the Site, the App, or the Community, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Article 2 - Eligibility
Access to the services is strictly reserved for individuals aged 18 years or older with full legal capacity.
By registering, the user represents and warrants that they are of legal age.
Access to the Site and the App is free of charge.
Access to the Community is subject to a paid subscription, in accordance with the Terms of Service available here.
Article 3 - Code of Conduct
Users agree to use the services lawfully and respectfully. Strictly prohibited:
hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, sexist, racist, or unlawful content, harassment, spamming, dissemination of violent, pornographic, or illegal material, fraud, hacking, or any attempt to disrupt the services.
Any breach may result in:
immediate suspension or termination of access without compensation or refund, and legal proceedings initiated by the Publisher.
Article 4 - Intellectual Property
Original content published on the Site and the App (texts, graphics, layouts, logo, etc.) is the exclusive property of the Publisher and protected under intellectual property law.
Book covers and third-party images remain the property of their respective publishers and/or authors. They are used solely for illustrative purposes, with proper credits where required.
Any reproduction, modification, or unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Article 5 - Hyperlinks and Affiliate Links
The Site and the App may contain hyperlinks redirecting to third-party websites.
Some may be affiliate links, meaning the Publisher may earn a commission at no extra cost to the user.
The Publisher has no control over third-party websites and disclaims all responsibility for their content, security, offers, or transactions.
Article 6 - Liability
The Publisher makes every effort to ensure proper functioning of the services but shall not be held liable for:
interruptions, failures, or errors beyond its control, indirect damages, data loss, or financial harm resulting from the use of the services, content published by users within the Community.
Each user is solely responsible for their own statements, publications, and behavior.
Article 7 - Personal Data and Cookies
The use of the services involves the collection and processing of personal data.

Cookie consent is managed via Cookiebot, allowing users to accept, refuse, or customize their choices.
Article 8 - Amendments to the Terms
The Publisher reserves the right to amend these Terms at anytime.
Users will be informed of material changes by any appropriate means (including notices on the Site, the App, by email if applicable, or other communication channels).
Continued use of the services after publication of new Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
Article 9 - Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and after attempts at amicable resolution, jurisdiction is expressly granted to the courts of Paris, France, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.
